Margaret Eleanor 'Peggy' Carr (2 May 1930 - 23 Feb 2023)

In loving memory of Margaret Eleanor 'Peggy' Carr who sadly passed away on 23rd February 2023. The dearly loved wife of the late Derrick, dear mum of Karen, also, the much loved grandma of Luke, Gemma, Ryan and Aleks.

Her funeral will take place at City road cemetery 2:30pm on Thursday the 16th March. And her wake at 4pm at Francis Newton Wetherspoons.

If you’ve ever known or heard us talk about Margaret you will know she is one of a kind lady. Her humour, grace and selflessness will always stay with us. She has lived a long life and fought until she feels it’s time to have her eternal rest. She will always be in our hearts and memories. She will be missed by everyone she touched a

Instead of a charity we are asking if you would like to donate to Haythorne Place Nursing Home. Margaret moved to this home permanently about a year ago after needing 24 hour care and being diagnosed with dementia. They have given their upmost care for Margaret and has surrounded her with the company and love whilst staying there. Her presence will always been known even after she has gone. And we thought it would be best to contribute to something that could help the other residents who knew Margaret well.
