In loving memory of Lewis Edward Cave who peacefully passed away on 8th February 2023 after a short illness. Much loved husband of Pamela, father of Elizabeth and father-in-law of Michael.
Following his childhood in Poole, Dorset, serving in the RAF in Egypt, attending University in London when he met his wife-to-be Pam and subsequent training as a mechanical engineer all stood him in good stead to take on whatever life threw at him – even at 95.
As he would have said himself, he’d had a good innings, even if he did have one eye on reaching his century! Ever the cricket enthusiast - and true gentleman.
