Peacefully at home, with loved ones at his side, on February 20th aged 66 years, Bob. The beloved husband of Bernie, much-loved dad of Catherine, Lisa, Catrina, Rachael and father-in-law of Kevin, Sam and Chris. A cherished grandad and great-grandad, a dearly loved brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend of many. Loved and remembered always.
Family and friends please meet on Wednesday March 1st for service in St Michael & All Angels Parish Church, Houghton-le-Spring at 1:15pm. By request, only family and close friends to attend the committal in Sunderland Crematorium. All are warmly invited to Hetton Victory Club for refreshments and to continue the celebration of Bob’s life.
Family flowers only, donations in lieu kindly received for Macmillan Cancer Support. A donation box will be available at the crematorium and in Hetton Vic.

How I miss your voice 😢 of only you could answer the phone and make me laugh or ask how the boys are how do I do this without you life has always been with you now I have to do it on my own and am struggling to understand how I know I must but just getting out of bed is hard your loss has been the hardest but knowing your up there with nanna grandad and mom gives me a little bit comfort you are truly missed and loved

Owe dad how sadly missed you are but I knew you were tired and in pain and your time on earth had come so for you I promise to try and stay strong and do what needs to be done all your wishes fulfilled I only ask 1 tiny little favour from you as am 2 far away though
