To our dear Dziadek and Pradziadek,
So sad that you have gone but so proud that you reached 98 years old and that you lived to meet my two beautiful children. I will always be thankful of the final times we had together in September when you met James for the first time. We will carry with us forever all the wonderful memories from childhood, spending precious time with you and Babcia, especially overnight stays at your bungalow on Cherrywood Gardens and day trips out in the holidays. Memories of our walks down Spring Lane with Babcia and shouting ‘Stop Dziadek!’ when we’d wave you down and you’d pick us up on your way back from work. In the latter years, such treasured memories in Wales of our walks on the beach. Thomas still has the pebbles and shells that we collected when we visited you. You so loved to do that with all of your grandchildren and great grandchildren. It isn’t until you have your own children that the value of grandparents becomes even more treasured and I feel lucky to have been so blessed. I have written you a poem and will post it on here after we have said our final farewells on Thursday. I hope you like it. Sleep peacefully in God’s arms. You will be missed but never forgotten. Dobranoc Dziadek. Karolinka, Robert, Thomas i James ❤️❤️❤️❤️ xxxx
