Coris Blodwen Agnes Clarke originated from the small village of Clun in Shropshire, growing up on the family farm before moving to Coventry in her teenage years to work at a bookbinders near the Cathedral.

She met her husband, Alan, and married in June 1958. The majority of their 57 years together were spent living in Radford, Coventry, where Coris was a regular sight walking around Jubilee Crescent.

A Mother to three sons, Coris worked in a variety of school kitchens as a cook before finally retiring.

Sadly, she was widowed in April 2015, and was beginning to once again enjoy her favourite pastimes of cooking and gardening prior to her untimely passing.

How ever I try to console myself, that parents should die before their children or that you are now at peace and no longer in pain, I'm hurting at your loss. A wonderful, loving and supportive Mother. I miss you.
