Robert William Dennis (21 Mar 1950 - 15 Jan 2023)

My wife and I are so, so sad to see this notice. Bob and I worked together, he as salesman and me as a client, for many years in London - his support was always invaluable. We enjoyed lunch together in St James and Clerkenwell and always had such warm and friendly conversations and I really enjoyed his company enormously. He gave us a beautiful, large cut glass vase as a wedding present, still our best one and in regular use and I am still using, daily, the Open Up desk chair which my wife won on the opening day of their new London showroom. He ensured that it was delivered to us as, after winning it in the prize draw, his own German MD decided that someone of more business value to the co should “win” it in her place. He was having none of it. A lovely man of real integrity and a great loss. We tried several times to meet up with him but sadly none of my messages either to his personal phone or Vital Workplace were ever acknowledged. We are truly sorry for your loss.

There are no words to describe the pain and heartache that we are feeling right now. We are so privileged to have been able to call you Dad, Father in Law and Grandad. Your love for your family and friends was second to none. Your generosity and thoughtfulness was faultless. Your laughter and humour always put smiles on people faces. We would do anything to have “Dad Mobile” ringing on our phone again.

You have left a hole in our lives that will never be filled. When we look up into the sky at night, we know that you will be the brightest star shining.

Your work here is now complete, it’s time for you to rest. You will always be loved and will never be forgotten.
