In loving memory of Ayward Benjamin Webzell who sadly passed away on 31st January 2023

Losing our amazing Dad has broken us ,but he will never be forgotten by so many .
Everyone who met him said he was a gentleman, his hairdresser wanted to put him in her pocket and take him home with her,his dentist said he sprinkled gold dust wherever he went .
Our Dad and late Mum started our obsession with boxer dogs,my Mum's wedding gift to my Dad was a boxer puppy called Smokey Joe ! With that in mind donations in memory of Dad are for 2 amazing boxer rescues, our Ollie comes from Notts and Yorks Boxer Rescue and our Maggie from Buddy's Boxer rescue ,our Dad adored them and they adored him ,so they were an easy choice .
Many many thanks to everyone who has supported us in these awful days, your love and comments have been of great comfort xxx

Over the last few years I had the absolute pleasure of cutting this true gents hair. I loved listening to his stories and the love he had for his family! His laugh and stories will certainly be missed from his visits to the salon. The first time I ever met Ayward I messaged Lesley later that day saying what a lovely man her dad was and wished I could take him home! And after reading all the lovely comments he obviously had this impact on everyone he met! He will be sadly missed. Rest in peace Ayward xx

Hello Lesley, I’m so sorry to hear of your loss of your Dad. I always enjoyed visiting him and your mum as a child as I knew I’d also be able to see their lovely dogs.
I spoke with him, probably a year or so ago, when I was visiting my mum (Eileen), and he still sounded the same as I remember him from my childhood, very alert and interested in what I’d been doing since we last spoke.
Uncle Ayward was always a kind, gentle man, and I remember him fondly.
Thinking of you and your family at this sad time,
With sympathy, Deborah
