Dear Barry, you and Susan helped my parents so much in lockdown. I only met you briefly a couple of times. The immediate impression I got was of a truely kind person. It was quite overwhelming. Your genuine warmth shone through. Thank you for your kindness to my parents. I know you will be sorely missed by all your friends and family and especially lovely Susan. You touched many peoples hearts, including mine. Marisa

Dear Barry,
You will be missed for your decency, reflections and kindness. Shannon's visual tribute today to your life and times really brought it home how much you will be missed by your family and friends. You were loved and we will remember you with fondness and a smile. Love Mark x

Love and miss you Barry always had the best stories and a faith that was unquestionably and inspired me. But my best memories was when I was a child at club and Barry did the football. Nearly every week he would say itโ€™s not a man of the match this week itโ€™s a person of the match and I always knew it was me. I knew Barry was proud to give me that Mars bar ๐Ÿคฃ. As I got older and worked at bosco he and sue always showed me such love and gave me time. Barry you will always have a place in my heart and your stories and faith will live on at bosco and with me forever. Rest in peace xx

I was so sad to hear of the Passing of Barry.
I loved seeing him and really enjoyed chatting to him about all genres of Music and film, he was the font of musical knowledge.
I once heard a Van Morrison song but I didnโ€™t know the title, so I spoke to Barry about this song, โ€œhow does it go he saidโ€
I said โ€œit sounds like Van has nicked part of the King and Iโ€
Straight away with no hesitation Barry said โ€œDweller on the Threshold โ€œ
Obviously he was right.
Also lots of happy memories when our boys played football for The Fisher, Sunday morningโ€™s at Deptford Park come rain or shine, lots of happy memories made together with our families.
Sending Love & Strength to Suzan and all the family.

Good night & God Bless until we all meet again.

May Peace be with you Barry ๐Ÿค
