Julian was a great friend since my days as his Bank Manager and Rotary Colleague in the late 1980s, since then we have lunched when I have come up to watch 'Town'. Always great company with a kind word for everyone - also happy memories of with Julian & Tessa and their many influential friends! Sad he died on my birthday but on the other hand I will always remember him on that date.God bless you as you rest in peace

Julian and I joined Simpson Wood in 1964 as Articled Clerks. We studied together and
sat exams together - always as "mates". It was fitting that he succeeded me as Senior Partner of the firm on 1st October 2000. He will always be remembered as "a lad" and "a joker". St. Peter will have o job with him !! Rest in piece, Julian. Eric.
