Dawn Theresa Goodwin (1 Aug 1956 - 1 Feb 2023)

In loving memory of Dawn Theresa Goodwin who sadly passed away on 1st February 2023
Dawn was the Daughter of Amy and Don, and youngest Sister to Diane and Don, they had a happy childhood, growing up in Ashford Kent.
Dawn married, having four children. Maria, Michael Megan and Paul. She was the loving grandmother to 12 grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dawn happily worked her entire life whilst raising her family and made many life long friends along the way. She was a happy lady who loved life and was happy and content. She had a passion for cats, music and ultimately her passion was her family. She was a lady with a very big and loving heart. Dawn was fit and healthy, she was diagnosed with hirschsprungs disorder as a baby and she astonished the medical world surviving numerous life saving operations in the 50’s. This enabled her to lead a normal life and have a family. Recently she was diagnosed with acute pancreatitis which she sadly couldn’t recover from. We have been asked as a family to nominate a charity and we have nominated Guts Uk, this charity supports the research into the digestive organs and digestive tract which will hopefully be able to assist in the medical research of disorders and diseases to support the patients and families it affects. Dawns family would be grateful for donations to this cause.
Dawns funeral takes place on Wednesday 8th March 2023 at 14:00 at Barham crematorium. Everyone is welcome to attend to pay their respects and say goodbye to Dawn
