I grew up two doors from Richard in Newcastle, Richard, my brother Bernie and I were great friends, I have many happy memories going to the match ‘knocking around together’ and staying with his extended family in Derby. Richard was one of the nicest people I’ve known. My thoughts are with Jacqui and his family. RIP Richard it was a pleasure to have known you x
