Margaret Hills (28 Jul 1942 - 17 Jan 2023)

In loving memory of Margaret Hills who sadly passed away on 17th January 2023.

Margaret was born in Orchard House Crayford on the 28/07/1942 to her parents John and Annie Kent, unfortunately her father passed away when she was only seven. She lived with her mum in Northumberland Heath as a child and young adult. As time past she then met the man Terry Hills, who she would share the next chapter of her life with, at first with her mum and Terry then later enjoying her life with Terry as a couple. Her work life merged with her personal one gaining life long friends along the way. I am sure that each of these friends will have great stories to tell about times they shared over the years and I think there will be many funny ones to be recalled.
following Terry's death in 2016 it was a bitter blow however she always had him by her side and picked herself up. Even while she was in discomfort there always would be a little story about visits to one of their friends and of course the conversation would come around to her beloved garden and the birds that she loved seeing feeding from the constant supply of bird food she would provide.
I am not the best person to write this as I only shared my part with her but I was privileged to have her as a relative that I had around for most of my life and to this day she is a person that I will miss.
I hope now she is once again by the side of the two most important people of her life her mum and Terry
To her friends and family that are left behind she would say go and enjoy that life of yours and I ask to remember her by going out and plant some flowers a tree or bush so you can enjoy the things she did.
