So sorry to hear of Susan’s passing. We have happy memories of her in the Shibden Valley. At Christmas we gathered at Millys, who is very ill now, carol singing with a wonderful supper. We will be thinking about you all.
Gods peace and blessings to you all. Xxx

Many fond memories of Aunty Susan/Great Aunty Susan. We all enjoyed her welcoming personality, tasty home baking, helping with sewing items for our wedding & knitting the most cute cardigans for our two children..to name a few. Such a lovely lady xx

Susan was one of the most wonderful ladies I have ever had the pleasure to meet. A friend that will live in my heart forever and memories shared that I will never forget. Sally, Jonathan and Hannah are a testament to her wonderful character and I know will make her very proud for years to come. I feel blessed to have been able to spend the time with Susan that I did. Whilst it is so very sad her life has come to an end, it is also a time to reflect and celebrate the good times and memories that she has created with so many over her wonderful life. Once gone but never forgotten. Our thoughts are always with her loving family. xxx Love all of the photos Sally, I will add a few more that I have of Mummy. xxx
Lots of Love Carolynne, David, Roxanne and Dexter xxx

We are so very sorry to hear the sad news about your mum, and granny, our thoughts are most certainly with you all. I have such great memories of your mum, dad, all of us, from all those years ago! We’re very lucky to have those memories and I know your mum and dad will always continue to live on through those wonderful memories.
Thank you for posting the photographs on the website, great to see them and such a lovely reminder of your mum.
I'm really sorry we live so far away and we will not be able to attend the funeral. We will certainly be thinking of you all, and your mum. It will be sad, but it will also be a time to celebrate the life of success a lovely lady.
With love,
David and Margaret XX

  • Andy and I took Mum on a trip to her beloved Newport (in Pembrokeshire) for her 70th birthday. This was my amateur effort at a birthday cake! Clearly I haven't inherited the steady hand and keen eye for detail that Mum so amazingly had.
