In loving memory of Jim Howley who sadly passed away on 1st January 2023

CARMEL MORGAN donated in memory of Jim

Mr Howley was my form tutor at Saint Edmund Campion, Oxford. He was a wonderful teacher - kind, caring and good fun. He took a group of us to Bonn in 1978. It was a privilege to have been taught by him. Sending love to his family on such an awful loss.

  • Have only just heard of Jim’s death. What a wonderful man and such a good friend of my father Tony Jones in his Oxford days. Practically lived in our house on the Iffley Road. Great times were had which I shared too.He was a great musician too and his music (especially that of his Irish roots) will live on. Last saw him in 2014 when he wanted to arrange an anniversary of death get-together for my father. Remember his joy when Huddersfield town made it to the Premier League. May you rest in peace . Celia Bird (nee Jones) xx
