Judith Horncastle (nee Goss) was born on 29th August 1959 to parents Terry and Shirley Goss.
Judy (as she always preferred to be called) was a proud East Ender, born and raised In Poplar. She had an older sister, Susan, and three younger brothers: Terry, Michael, and Roger.
Sadly and unexpectedly, Judy passed away in her sleep on the morning of Saturday 24th December 2022.
Judy was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She has left behind her beloved husband, Steve, and their three beautiful children – Jamie, Carly, and George. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Charlie and Arabella.
Judy and Steve were engaged in September 1980. They were married in 1983 and welcomed their first child, Jamie.
In 1987, she gave birth to their second child, Carly. Shortly after she was born, Carly was diagnosed with a serious heart defect. It was at this time Judy gave up work to be with her children full time.
In 1993, Judy and Steve welcomed their third and final child, George.
She was immensely proud of her family.
She was overjoyed when her grandkids came along, first Charlie and then Arabella. They gave her a new lease of life and she loved nothing more than spending time with them.
Judy was kind, compassionate, caring, and happy.. She got on well with everybody and she was the life and soul of every party. She will be sorely missed by everyone who knew her.
