In loving memory of David George Hewitt, of Bude, passed away peacefully on 28th December 2022, at the age of 82 years following a period of illness. He will be known to many through his long service as a history teacher at Budehaven School and is lovingly remembered by his wife Janet, sons Mark, Tom & Stephen, and his four grandchildren.
Funeral to be held at Glynn Valley Crematorium, Bodmin, on Friday 3rd February 2023 at 1:30pm. Hugely sad to hear about the passing on Mr Hewitt. My A-Level history would never have been passed without his thoughtful and passionate teaching. He was a real ally at what was a difficult time with kindness, clarity and wit and I have taken much I learned from him through my life. Sending my thoughts and condolences to his family.
