In loving memory of John Michael Glynn who sadly passed away at his home in Swindon on 28th September 2015, at the age of 85. A devoted father and beloved husband he is survived by his wife Eileen (née O'Connell) and his three children, Paul, Teresa (Haller) and Mary (Doe).
John spent several years in the Royal Army Medical Corps and continued employment as a nurse for the rest of his working life. Well after retirement he volunteered at Swindon's Great Western Hospital's blind clinic.
He threw himself wholeheartedly into everything he did, his two great loves being the Church and singing. John enjoyed travelling and did so extensively with Eileen, making several pilgrimages at home and abroad with the parish and performing with the Swindon Male Voice Choir in Europe and North America.
John has touched many lives and will be sorely missed by all.
