Christopher Gapski (2 Mar 1959 - 19 Dec 2022)

Chris was born at 5 Charnwood grove on the 2/3/59, to Edna and boleslaw (bill) Gapski. Chris was half polish. And loved his parents dearly.
He used to help his dad make home made beer and help grow all sorts of vegetables.
[He studied at revensdale middle school and went on to Sherwood hall. After he worked for Linney print. At a young age he won awards for being the youngest binder operator.
At 17 he saw Elaine also working at linney print.... He saw her at the vending machine and dropped all his money as she smiled at him. They were together for 3 years before they married in 1980 at St Albans church in forest town. Later they'd have Lisa in 1984 and David in 1986. They were a loving mother and father. Gave everything they could to make them happy and safe.
Chris and Elaine had an amazing life together, they were best friends and this continued for over 40 years.
[In late jan 2022 Elaine was diagnosed with stage 4 terminal cancer. Chris did everything for Elaine with the help of Lisa and David. A close nit family. Elaine sadly passed away in September 2022. Chris never got over this and died of a broken heart in the December of 2022.
He leaves behind daughter Lisa, son in law dion. Grand children Kade and poppy
Son David, daughter in law Rachel and grandchild Charlotte.
Brother Stephen and niece Blair. Who will all miss him greatly.
He was absolutely fantastic. He is now at rest with Elaine.

Sorry to hear the sad loss of your Dad (Lisa & David) and also the loss of your mum which I only heard about early December, both great work Colleges at Linney's and will be sadly missed by all. Rest together now Elaine & Chris.xx
