In loving memory of Lucitta McLeod, who sadly passed away on December 7th 2022, aged 49 after a brave battle with metastasised breast cancer. Lucitta was born on September 29th 1973, in Nottingham, UK to Mary Young and Zedekiah McLeod. She was the youngest of two children.

She had the biggest heart and spent her adolescence, adulthood and career helping and caring for others. She worked as a support worker for various services around Nottingham for 17 years, supporting vulnerable adults and children and was loved and appreciated by all her colleagues and service users.

Lucitta will be remembered by her friends and family as a bubbly outgoing person, with a heart of gold. Someone who loved to party and enjoy herself with her friends on nights out, as well as with her family on holidays abroad. For her children, she was someone who was always there when we needed her and will always be the best mum in the world.

Lucitta is survived by her daughters; Luctisha, Lucina and Felicia, and her older brother Peter. She will be deeply missed by the many lives she touched

As Lucitta passed away due to cancer we kindly ask that people donate to MacMillan Cancer Research, if able.

Jeni Smith donated £20 in memory of Lucitta

Lucitta, words cannot even begin to describe how much I and so many others are going to miss you. You were the kindest, strongest and one of the most genuine people I have had the pleasure to know. So many memories we share, back in the day on Bentinck Road, as well as getting the opportunity to work together again in the Moving Forward team all those years later - I never saw you without a smile on your face, and that is how I will always remember you. You didn’t deserve this, and my heart goes out to your friends and beautiful family. Rest easy my friend.

My darling friend who was like a daughter to me. Words cannot convey the sadness I feel right now because you were one of the bravest soul I had the pleasure of knowing. You remained positive and bubbly surrounded by your 3 daughters who were your pride and joy who showered you with so much love and cared for you throughout which I admired so much. I will miss our coffee mornings were we would laugh whilst putting the world to rights. I'm going to miss you dearly but RIP Lucita where you will be wrapped in the Lord's garment of love. I'll always be here for your daughters Lu ❤️

My darling friend Lucita who I loved so much like a daughter. Words cannot convey my sadness but I'll remember Lucita as a positive, bubbly and brave young lady whose 3 daughters were her pride and joy. They in turn gave her so much love throughout her life. I'll miss our coffee mornings together when we would have a right laugh about life. I'll miss her so much, the best neighbour anyone could wish for. RIP Lucita where you will be wrapped in the Lord's garment of love.
