Michael John Maddocks (10 Jul 1947 - 8 Dec 2022)

We are so sad to say goodbye to our wonderful friend & neighbour Mick.

Mick was way more than just a neighbour to us, he was a father figure to Tim, a handyman to everyone on the street, a supporter to everyone he spoke to, a devoted Christian & the kindest bloke you’d ever meet who would do anything for anyone.

I will miss your loud laugh Mick, you really were one of a kind- thank you for always being there for me & Tim unconditionally 🙏🏽💙

All those Boxing Days were so happy, this coming one will be sad in your absence. You wouldn't have wished that so - we will endeavour to keep it true to your memory.

Sending all our love to Janice, Nic, Guy, Tom and Ella. Mick was a wonderful man, always happy to help. I remember him fixing my VW Beetle when I was in my teens. He will be sadly missed. X

We were both saddened to hear of Micks death today and want to send all our love to the family and to Janice in particular. Yes Micks body has stopped working but I know he is more alive now than he has ever been. We will meet again that is certain. Mick if you can read this( who knows?) I remember with great fondness our time together in Calverton. You made me laugh and I really enjoyed the Mick Maddoxks Marvellous Marmalade! God bless.
