Mary Campkin (31 Mar 1938 - 1 Dec 2022)

Mary Ann, Ellen Campkin (nee Seal), known as Ann, was born in Rochford hospital on 31/3/1938.

Married Dave Campkin (Snr) in 1964, & devoted mother to David, Sharon & Vanessa & devoted grandmother to Ben, Jenna & Stephanie.

First job after leaving school was at Woolworths, she was also a Bus conductoress "Clippy" & also worked at Nore Electric in Southchurch Road & the canteen at Ecko Plastics, formerly opposite Priory Park.

Thereafter she spent most of her selfless life caring for the family, so her Mum Nell, then her husband Dave who passed away in 2001 & also her brother Frankie, who we sadly lost 5 years ago in 2017.

She sadly in the last couple of years had to deal with the onset of dementia, immobilty & dysphasia, but through it all she still knew who everyone was & could still manage to smile & laugh through it all.

She loved a glass of red or a scrumpy & a fag, & enjoyed a party or any type of family gatherings.

Her sad passing is a huge loss to us & all her family & friends.
