Stuart Murray (9 Jul 1965 - 1 Dec 2022)

Stuart was much loved and his lovely nature and sense of humour will be sorely missed xx

I had the honour of working with Stuart at the University of Nottingham. Stuart was an extraordinary Scientist and Engineer. A well of knowledge with whom I learned a lot. Although I only worked with him for a short period I have him in my heart as a friend more than a colleague. We will miss his smile and great sense of humour.

There are some people you meet and right away you like them; you are struck by their generosity, kindness and willingness to help others. Stuart Murray was one of those people.

In memory of Stuart… He was part of our research team at the University of Nottingham for a short time and I wish it could have been longer. He was a very knowledgeable and experienced scientist and engineer. He would generously spend time helping and sharing his expertise with our research students. Always friendly and happy to chat, we miss him.

In memory of Stuart...my friend thru high-school, university, band high-jinks, and in the 30 years post. Glad I was able to see him on a visit back to Scotland in 2016. One of life's good guys as a friend (and as a husband and father). Loved ya, dude.
