I knew Peter as a gentle person, ever tolerant and willing to assist wherever he could, frequently sharing his many practical skills and accumulated know-how.
It was especially good to see the pleasure he had at Berry Family gatherings, watching his sons, their partners and all the growing grandchildren. He could tell stories of his own youthful years, and was pleased to learn of hopes and exploits of everyone.
He will surely be remembered with great affection.

I did not see you close your eyes or hear your last sigh. I only heard that you were gone, too late to say goodbye.
No farewell words were spoken, there was no time to say goodbye. You were gone before I knew it and only your god will know why.
Goodbye is not forever. Goodbye is not the end. It simply means I'll miss you until we meet again.
