So very sorry for your loss.
Farewell Peter, so sad to know that he will not be at home when I call Georgie each day. I first met Peter in the early eighties, when we were cast as father and daughter in a Woldingham production of an Alan Ayckbourn play. This led to a great friendship with Peter and Georgie and we continued to act in various plays and pantomimes over the years when he lived in Tatsfield. Peter was a special friend and a joy to know, very supportive to all cast members and when directing plays spent a lot of time working with the cast in a kind and considerate way, and all his productions were always well received and highly praised. Away from amateur dramatics, Peter was a much loved friend and my best friend Georgie’s soulmate. I have spent so much time with them over the years and if ever I had an issue or needed advice, Peter would always know the answer and do anything he could to help. Peter was very talented and creative, generous with his time, he would have a go at most things. Great carpentry skills, good cook and gardener, he loved making props, he even learnt how to sew and created fabulous costumes for some of his productions. Happy days remembered. Such a lovely man, considerate and thoughtful, with a warm sense of humour. I have been so lucky to have Peter as a good friend and I will treasure all the happy memories and the laughter and fun times we shared over the years. Those who touch our lives, stay in our hearts forever xx
