Dell Fleming donated £50 in memory of Stephen

Steve was many things to different people. He was Teddy, the gentle giant to some, he was a good friend and colleague to others, he was a loving husband and father, and he was the proudest ever grandad. Steve was someone that people respected and looked up to and he will continue to be missed.

Steve was one of the most humble and kind people I have ever met. He absolutely doted on his family especially his grandkids. It was a privilege to have worked with Steve for the past 15 years and he will be sadly missed by all that knew him. RIP Steve.

I knew Steve at secondary school. He was a very good friend. We lost touch until email correspondence a few years ago! Reading all these comments he clearly hadn’t changed! He was always a thoughtful, kind, and very faithful friend! My prayers are with the family!

Rest in peace, old friend.
Stephen (or Steve as I called him) and I became friends over 58 years' ago when we were still in short trousers at primary school in Sidcup. One of the kindest, generous and warm spirited people you could you meet. I know that other old secondary school friends feel the same about Steve. Too many memories to recount here of good days spent with a lovely friend. I am so sorry I cannot attend the funeral. Love to Jenny and the family.
