Thank you to each and every person who attended David's funeral and to those who couldn't attend but offered support and kind words. I was especially pleased to see many of David's old colleagues at the funeral and I'm sorry that I didn't get to speak to you all but your presence was greatly appreciated. Thank you also for your generosity with the collection for Hope for Tomorrow. This great charity will really benefit from the funds raised. Dear grandad, Mr Cherry, the black pudding, Prince Charming and all the other ridiculous but funny nicknames you self appointed. I wish I could see you one last time and tell you how great of a grandad you was and how you always made me want to be a better person. I’ll love you forever and will make you proud. We will all miss you and your humour vey much.
