Peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on November 23rd aged 90 years, Alan. The dearly loved husband of the late Ellen. A much loved dad of Janis, Trevor and Alison. A loved father-in-law, brother, brother-in-law and uncle. A devoted and caring grandad to Sarah, Kate, Ian and Krista and a treasured great grandad to Kieran, Robin, Ruby, Isobel, Lucas and Albie. Friends please meet on Thursday December 8th for a service in the Independent Methodist Church, Easington Lane at 12 noon. Committal to follow in Sunderland Crematorium. All are welcome afterwards to Hetton Lyons Cricket Club for refreshments. Family flowers only, donations in lieu kindly received for the work of St Benedict’s Hospice.
