Dave, I'm really sorry for your loss and I hope that your memories and the impact Shirley had on so many people can bring some comfort to you. She was a good person, always there for people. I know how much support you and Shirley have been to my parents for a very long time. I'll certainly remember her sense of humour and straight talking nature, and how she could turn her hand to anything and achieve it successfully.
I'm thinking of you, John, Helen, and the family.

Our dear friend Shirley was the most practical, down to earth lady that Tracey and I have ever known. We will miss her sense of humour, her musical ability and her sound advice. She shone a light wherever she went and we will miss her a lot. Until we see you again Shirley and hear the bongos in Heaven! God bless xx

So sorry to hear the news about Shirley but I am so pleased to have known her. I loved our being in house group together and appreciated her wit, humour and her down to earth normality. We laughed at music and exchanged glances of understanding frequently. I look forward to our reunion in our forever home 😍
