I will always remember being made very welcome by Madeleine's mum, Theresa, when I visited the McMullin household as a teenager. Theresa was so kind and gentle. Peter and Theresa were very hospitable to my mum and dad too, inviting them to enjoyable dinner parties.

It is with great sadness that the family of Mrs Theresa McMullin announces her passing, on November 21st 2022, at the age of 84.
Theresa was born in Fulham, London on February 1st 1938. She met and married Peter, her loved and loving husband in August 1963 and had her first child Max on May 1st 1964.
She died peacefully at her nursing home in Nottingham, surrounded by her children. She survived Peter by eight years.
Her five children, Max, Madeleine, Francesca, John, Marguerite and her eight grandchildren, Oscar, Teddi, Ella, Joe, Arturo, Inigo, Gustavo and Charlie will remember her forever as a wonderful mother and grandmother.
She was so very kind, her family all felt very loved and will miss her dreadfully.

I knew Theresa through one of her children, Madeleine. Theresa was such a lovely person, always kind, warm and welcoming. She had a gentle elegance about her, and always put us 'visiting kids' at ease. I was so sorry to hear of her passing... I know she will be greatly missed and was very loved. My thoughts and prayers are with her family, friends and loved ones. xxx

I have lovely memories of beautiful , quiet and self effacing Teresa. I only met her on two occasions for a short time but she left a lasting warm impression. She raised five children,, cared for her ill mother and made the best ever veggie soup. A devoted mother and wife her life was never the same after Peter died but she faced this change with her sweet,uncomplaining , calm nature.
My thoughts are with all the family at this time.
