Dear Uncle David. Thanks for being my Godfather. Thanks for helping me buy my first car. Thanks for letting me stay at Heycroft Road (and for never moving), and for playing the art game that I loved. Thanks for the memories in Ireland, and a million thanks for being my kind, gentlemanly uncle - we all need one of those. We never did finish that last crossword, but other than that, you did alright. Luv ya Dave. RIP xxx

Fav photo with Uncle David. Until the very end I'd mention fishing in Ireland and David would laugh & smile. Drunken evenings, Dad hitting his head on the pool table, David hitting a car while reversing the van. Fishing never got a mention. Luv ya David x
