Hope Rudge (29 Sep 1922 - 12 Nov 2022)

Hope Rudge passed away on 12th November at home with her daughter and family, after a long and full life of 100 years. She is now resting with her Lord & Saviour, Jesus, and has joyously reunited with her beloved twin sister Grace.

Hope was a loving sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She worked for a time as a missionary nurse in Zambia and continued with many voluntary roles throughout her life. She especially loved being part of the Gideons (now known as Good News for Everyone), a role which allowed her to share her love of the bible with her local community. Throughout her life she was a devoted woman of God and spread His love to all those she came across. She will be greatly missed by friends and family alike, but we are happy to know she is now at peace in her final home with Christ.

Hope’s Thanksgiving Service will be held at Tonbridge Baptist Church at 1pm on Monday 5th December, all are welcome to attend, to celebrate a life well lived. Please wear something other than black.
