Beloved son of Ann and Doug, Paul spent his early years travelling with his parents, members of the British Army. He returned to Liverpool with his parents and little sister, Sharron, where he soon discovered his love of football; particularly his revered Liverpool Football Club.
After leaving school, Paul combined his skill in engineering with his passion of the open seas by spending several years travelling the world building and sailing yachts. He was proud to help restore the Massey Shaw, a London Fire Brigade fireboat, which was one of the flotilla of small vessels to help evacuate British troops from Dunkirk.
Paul had a strong sense of community and gave back wherever he could. He started as a Boy Scout in Liverpool; was on the committee managing grant applications with the Prince's Trust in Stoke-on-Trent; and raised countless funds for charity through his activities as a Publican with his adored wife, Caroline.
Paul died peacefully at home, aged 58
You are warmly welcomed to celebrate his life.
