Jim was my mentor when I started my first full time job with Go Ahead. The support that he gave me throughout my early career was so influential. I owe so much to him and what he done for me to get to where I am in life today. He was always there even when things weren't going right and he still took interest in what I was doing even when I moved on elsewhere.
I will never forget Jim and I am so saddened to hear this news.

In loving memory of my husband,
James Patrick Collins
Who sadly passed away on 27th October 2022.
James was diagnosed with a brain stem tumour in 2016, he fought hard against this cruel disease having undergone Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy.
James was helped at home by carers from ‘The Nottingham Hospice then was admitted to Hayward House where he spent his final days.
James will be hugely missed by myself and our three boys Will, George and Henry.
We kindly ask for no flowers ,instead we were hoping for donations towards The Nottinghamshire Hospice, Hayward House and The Brain Tumour Charity who helped James and our family greatly in these last months.
James will be buried at Tithe Green. Due to limited facilities at the burial site this will be for immediate family and close friends (who will be notified before hand). There will be refreshments after the funeral at the Church hall.
