On 25th October 2022, in hospital, of Mirfield, aged 91 years, Brian, beloved husband of Audrey, a much loved father, father in law, step-father and grandad, also a loving brother and uncle.
Funeral service will be held at Huddersfield Crematorium on Wednesday 23rd November 2022 at 12.30pm. Friends please accept this intimation and meet at the crematorium. Family flowers only donations in his memory may be made to the The Rayner Foundation.
Brian was such a lovely, genuine, kind and humble gentleman. Even in his eighties, he shared his love of cycling by doing so much good work within the community, helping younger generations of all abilities to enjoy cycling themselves. RIP Brian, you've left a lasting legacy. x
West Yorkshire was the bedrock of great cyclists,of which Brian was so inspirational, here and furthe afield.RIP Brian x

Brian was and remains an inspiration to me in my professional life and personal/cycling life too. I was very privileged to meet him, spend time in his company with Audrey and we cherish those memories. RIP Brian.
He was a truly nice man who I always like to see had great memories of his tales in his long and fruitful life .
