Our Cathy sadly passed away peacefully surrounded by her family after a short illness at Kings College hospital London on the 20th October 2022 aged 74.

Cathy’s funeral will take place at 3pm on the 9th November 2022 at Thames View Crematorium and Cemetery, Gravesend

The wake will be held at the Knowle Country House, Higham. We have fond memories of family occasions at the Knowle and the sweet trolley was a particular favourite of Cathy’s.

Everyone is welcome.

Cathy liked to stick with tradition and always wore her best ‘Black Outfit’ to any funerals she attended but please feel free to wear whatever makes you comfortable

The work of the Salvation Army was close to Cathy’s heart so if you wish too, donations will be gladly received instead of flowers. Donations can be made via just giving or a collection tin for cash and cheques will be available on the day.

Just wanted to thank everyone for the incredible support we have all received. In addition to the money donated on here, there was also another £400 cash donated on the day. Tony is personally taking this to the Salvation Army in Dartford on Sunday. Thankyou all once again

Dear Cathy,
It feels so strange writing this message, however, I'd like to thank Cathy for all the fancy dress outfits and traffic jam jellies. Cathy was always there for me and she'll be missed by everybody (even the cat).
I hope she's finally found peace,
Deepest Condolences,
Henry Williams

Dearest Cathy I still cannot believe that we’ll not see you dropping into one of Henry’s parties. It was a joy to have known you having met you when Henry and Charlie were babies. I hope you’ve met with my mum upstairs and you’re having a good old catch up.
You will be missed by everyone that knew you. You were one in a million.
RIP Cathy xx

Dearest Cathy,

It feels completely weird writing this as it’s hard to believe you are gone. I’ll miss seeing you pass the shop, or mooching around town with a million shopping bags. Your sense of humour was infectious and always made me giggle. You were hilariously dry and sometimes in the funniest circumstances.

Raise a glass with Ray won’t you! Don’t worry about Tony, we’ve got his diet sorted for the next few years - pasties.

I have got so much memories of this photo, Cathy was my supervisor and Claire was my area manager working at Tesco Strood. These 2 lovely ladies used to let me get away with a lot of things.
