What a shock!
Ted will be sorely missed as he, Sylvia and all his Family have been such a large part of our lives for over 65 years
Our families gained enjoyment together through shared holidays and leisure time with good conversation and joking whilst consuming good food, wine and beer
We were only reminiscing in September this year, over a few glasses of wine that we had been lucky to reach the age we were and posed the question will reach the milestone of 100 years?
Sadly, that was not to be

With deepest regret we announce the passing of Norris Edward Hallsworth (Ted) who died unexpectedly on holiday in Spain recently.
A successful businessman, keen former sportsman who played local football and later golf and squash, he also travelled widely both for business and pleasure.
Ted was loved by his family and friends and will be deeply missed. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Sylvia and his sons Richard and John.

I was shocked to hear of Ted's passing. We worked together for many years and I was pleased to be not only a work colleague but a friend. He contributed to society and will be missed. My condolences to his family.
