In loving memory of Jean Gladys Barton who sadly passed away on 10th October 2022, aged 91 years.

Jean, the only child of Roy and Lou Muggridge, wife of the late Charles (Dick) Walter Barton, mother of Carol and Linda Barton, passed away peacefully at Medway Hospital after a brief illness.
Jean led a long, happy and active life being fortunate to still be able to catch the bus to Hempstead Valley until just a few weeks before her passing.
Jean will be much missed by her daughters, son in law's, grandchildren, great grandchildren, friends and wider family.

I’ll remember you with great fondness, Jean. In the future, whenever I watch or hear mention of ‘Call The Midwife’ it will remind me of us watching it together whilst the other members of the family went out for a Christmas Day Walk. We’d chat about the old times. When I drove you home on Boxing Day, you’d tell Sarah and I about what a lovely Christmas you’d had. I’ll miss you. xxx
