Mrs Evelyn Stott

24th April 1933 - 30th September 2022

With profound sadness we announce the passing of Eve our loving, devoted Mother and friend.

Eve loved ballroom dancing & spent many a Saturday evening dancing at the iconic Kursaal Ballroom in the fifties (where she met and fell in love with our Dad)

Having worked in her early years as a kennel maid Eve had an affinity with Greyhounds, alongside her husband Dave this passion developed into racing and breeding their dogs at Southend Greyhound Staduim in Grainger Road.

Eve was an avid music lover, enjoying many Sunday afternoons listening to the music at the Bandstand. Eve was a talented singer and enjoyed playing cards particularly Kalooki.

Our loving, caring and wonderful Mum has left a permanent mark etched on our hearts, she will be supremely missed and forever loved. Family was the pivotal essence of Eve's life.

Eve's funeral is being held at Southend Crematorium on Wednesday 19th October 2022 at 2.40 pm (West Chapel) Then afterwards for a celebration of Eve's life at:

I miss you every day but take huge comfort in knowing you're back in grandad's arms, dancing and smiling together for eternity.
