In loving memory of Peter Ronald Sievey who sadly passed away on 30th September 2022.

Peter was born on 26th September 1946, where he lived with his Mother Emma and Father Robert and his siblings Roy, Joyce and Bobby, then to be joined by the twins Alan, David a few years later.

As a boy he attended Tower Bridge Road School and developed a love for Carpentry, This led to a long career working for the government as a building manager, enabling him to work in some of the most recognised buildings on the London skyline.

Peter had one daughter Emma who he loved dearly, she gave him a grandson George who he doted on and they were thick as thieves as they adored each other and had an amazing bond.

Peter was lucky to see his daughter find her husband James and this also meant he was also blessed with James' daughter Bethany as his granddaughter who he loved.

In his youth he was an avid football fan and followed Millwall Football Club around the country. Along with his love of football he enjoyed playing darts and played in local teams for many years getting numerous trophies and cups. He was also a keen fisherman and would go regularly with friends to fish at local clubs for matches and made lifelong friends during these years.

Peter had always had issues with his heart for many years and was able to live a full life. In 2019 he had to have major surgery which he never really recovered fully but still remained active and enjoyed a quieter lifestyle.

Earlier this year in May he started to decline in health and it was then he was diagnosed with terminal cancer unfortunately due to it not really being able to be treated he was just made comfortable. Due to periods of illness he had frequent trips into St Thomas', it was on his latest stay on Stephen Ward that dad became weaker and at 22.15pm on the 30th September he passed away peacefully with his loved ones around him.

Peter will be laid to rest on the 19th October 2022 at Honor Oak Crematorium at 10.45am
Everyone is welcome to attend and if you are able to let the family know if you would like to attend.

There will be a drink for dad after at the Angel pub in Bermondsey from 12pm everyone is welcome to join. If you will be attending please could you let Emma know on 07952978850 as a rough guide of numbers would be useful.

Peter has requested that only flowers from family and if people did want to send donations to the British Heart Foundation and Prostate Cancer UK as they were charities close to the family.
