Sue was my best friend at Crewe Girls Grammar School. We were both very sporty and played in the School hockey, tennis and badminton teams. Sue became Headgirl at the School, before going on to University. Sadly we lost touch after University, due to both of us moving and managing young families Nearly forty years later we made contact again as we lived in Derby and Sue and Dave lived in Nottingham. WE resumed our friendship for past fifteen years, sharing visit to their home in Locmariquer, holidays in Florence and Jersey. We shared many laughs together and I was due to visit her the week before she died to share lunch. Sue you were a very special friend with a fabulous sense of humour and never once did you let the challenges of MS dim your spirit. Rest in Peace, my friend. Love Julia

I met Sue first at BJ. We only worked together once but she was such good fun and so competent she really made an impression on me. She became a very faithful member of our book club over many years until it disbanded. I will remember her as insightful, very kind and always with a very ready laugh. Iā€™m sorry I cannot attend the funeral as we have moved to Eastbourne. I send my condolences and my prayers for you as you grieve her loss
