I often have a look on google for people whom I have known in my life. Mick Blanchet being one whom I have a very appreciative recall. He and I started school together at Hautlieu Grammar School aged 11. I sat next to him in Class 1a. My greatest memory of him relates to Art as at that time Racing cars was not on the list. The art form I both loved and envied was his ability to draw aircraft in great detail in minutes. Spitfires; Hurricanes;ME109's; Heinkel 111's. Absolute magic.
