In loving memory of Cynthia Eileen Owen who sadly passed away on 8th September 2022.
Mum moved to Yorkshire in 1978 when I was 23 years old. Together with Dad they built a life together making many friends. They loved Yorkshire and spent many years enjoying caravan and sight seeing holidays.
Sadly Dad passed away in 2017 leaving Mum on her own. I would visit as often as I could but living in Coventry, West Midlands it never seemed to be enough.
The Covid pandemic had a major impact on Mum's life. Like many others it curtailed her active life of socialising and walking trips with her many friends.
I was proud of my Mum for her resilience to life's challenges. Mum was very independent and lived her life the way she wanted even up to her passing.
