Lisa Dobson (10 Sep 1964 - 13 Sep 2022)

In loving memory of Lisa Dobson who sadly passed away on 13th September 2022.

Lisa tragically suffered a hemorrhagic stroke on 1st September. Despite a brave fight, she never regained consciousness and passed away just after 4pm on 13th September, aged just 58.

Lisa was the most selfless, funny and caring person. She always cared more for everyone else than for herself.

She went to King John's school in Benfleet. After a short time working for Southend College, she became the Purchasing & Inventory Control Manager at KeyMed in Southend. This is where she met her soon to be husband, Neil.

They have two sons, Adam (28) and Matt (23).

After giving up work to concentrate on raising the boys, Lisa went back to part-time work around 10 years ago, firstly at a cattery then helping Neil with his car repair business and, more recently, at They Love it where she became indispensable, made some great friends and was adored by so many customers.

Lisa was always on the go, she simply never stopped! She loved gardening and especially loved tulips! She also loved walking, going to shows and rugby, as well as looking after everyone! She loved a trip to The Stoop to watch Harlequins, especially Danny Care! Just a few weeks ago she fulfilled a dream by seeing My Fair Lady at the London Colosseum.

We are trying to care for her garden as best we can.

We are reeling from her sudden passing, but Lisa will always be loved and never forgotten.
