In loving memory of Martin Jones who sadly passed away peacefully at home on 16th September 2015 aged 71 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife Shirley, and daughters Sarah and Cathy. Now at peace with his son Steven.

At Shirley and the family’s request, Martin’s Funeral Service will be broadcast live, on the Internet. It will also remain available for 7 days following the funeral to allow people to watch at their convenience.

Martin Jones was my form teacher in year 8 (1969-70), taught me maths for at least 3 years including A level, was i/c the RAF section when I was in the CCF, led adventurous training in Wales and coached me at rowing. So he was probably the teacher with whom I had most contact at NHS. All of those contacts have had a major impact on my subsequent life and career. RIP, and thank you.
