Only met David once many years ago but clearly he was a great guy, loved and admired by all those who knew him. It was a privilege to have been able to attend the funeral.

Dave, I will treasure forever the memories of our time together in Qatar - some of my happiest memories. We met as colleagues, but depart as friends, with many a happy and funny a time had. With love, Tim.

You were a top guy and so solid
I especially treasure the times we spent in Doha when I got to know you
Dodgy Dave was the character that was immortalized and we all were part of the plot
It is so sad you left us all so soon but your fantastic interest in all subjects made everyone feel included and we will look after Tina
So sorry we cannot be there tomorrow
Hugs and kisses to Tina, Alex & Louise

From one of the many days we spent together at Colchester Town over a 3 year period, we always likened our jobs as putting together a model plane, getting halfway through and realising that the other half were parts for a helicopter! An impossible task!

Well what can I say, you were a great boss and an even greater friend. I will miss our chats about everything from how bad we both are at Fantasy Football, to what new games were coming out on Virtual Reality, I suppose we also did some work as well! x
