Richard Alphonso Thomas (11 Jul 1973 - 17 Aug 2022)

So sad to hear of Richards passing, RT as we I called him when I was a teen working at Royal mail in Eastwood was a good friend to me and introduced me to the likes of Blackstreet and Teddy Riley etc, Still brings back those memories everytime I listen. Never will forget his G-Ryde. R.I.P my G. Condolences to all family and friends.

Beautiful service today and very emotional. Richard was and is a great guy. I will be thinking of him each time I watch F1. He was going to join me on my Monaco trip some years back but he was 30 minutes to late and I had sold the ticket. Was gutted then and even more so now. A great loss to your family and to
Me as a great friend.

Saying goodbye to the Jolly giant, my memory of Rich was every time he would come into the room he would lift his dark shades and with his big smile would say “ it’s me Richard “

I first met rich around 12/13 years ago and he was a larger than life character who was respected by everyone who met him..i Still can't believe I'm not going to see and chat with the big lad...we will all miss that big smile...rest in peace big lad xxxxxx

Richard was a great friend and co worker and will be sadly missed by everyone who new him I no he will be watching over all his family and friends for ever rest in peace rich 🙏

So sad remembering the times as a child Richard was so funny an all ways had time for us youngers.

My sincere condolences, Rich , as we called him was a gem of a colleague, when I started working at Severn Trent he was my first mentor so I got to know him really well, we often enjoyed long chats and when Rich laughed it lifted everyone.
He was a credit to his family and a genuinely lovely person.
He will be sadly missed by all of his colleagues and friends. Rest easy Rich. ❤️
