In loving memory of Gordon Roberts who sadly passed away on 6th September 2022.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Gordon Roberts, beloved husband of Pam (who passed away in 2019), father of Judith and grandpa of Callum and Megan. Gordon passed away peacefully on Tuesday 6th September at his home, sat in his armchair watching an old movie with Judith holding his hand.

Gordon enjoyed a long and active life in Liverpool, Wales, Canada, Worcester and Nottingham. He was an engineer by trade, who enjoyed working with all things mechanical, especially his vintage motorbikes and sailing boats. Married to Pam for 57 years, Gordon was a devoted husband, father and grandpa - enjoying taking his family on holidays and day-trips to Wales and the Malvern Hills and surrounding areas.

Losing Pam in 2019 was a major blow for Gordon, but supported by Jude, he bounced-back and started a new life in Nottingham and quickly established a wide group of friends at his home in Brielen Court.

Constantly buoyed by his beloved daughter, Gordon was bright as a button and full of humour, with a smile on his face right until the end.

Gordon will be dearly missed by Jude, Andy, Callum, Megan and his wider family.

Gordon's Funeral Service will be held at Gedling Crematorium (Nottinghamshire) at midday on Friday 30th September. Following the service, Jude and Andy would like to invite you to the funeral reception at their home: 9 Hammersmith Close, Upper Saxondale, Nottinghamshire. NG12 2NQ. If you would like to attend the Service and/or reception, please click on the 'Attend Funeral' link below. Thanks.
