In loving memory of Victor Herbert Haselwood who sadly passed away on 31st August 2022.

A true gentleman in every sense of the word and a much loved and hugely dedicated husband, father and grandfather.

Gone, but never forgotten, Vic's memories will last for years to come. His many funny stories, songs, impressions and jokes will brighten our days, and his ability to offer constant, unconditional kindness will remain a part of his vast legacy.

We'll always miss him.

Deeply saddened to hear of Vic's passing, a much loved cousin. Although we have had little contact over many years when we have managed to catch up it was always as though it was yesterday that we last met. Our deepest sympathy to Heather and family from all in New Zealand. Our thoughts are with you at this sad time.

I was shocked and saddened at the news of my dear cousin Vic’s sudden passing and it still seems unreal that he is no longer with us. He was one of those rare people that everybody immediately liked with his warm, friendly, kind nature and his great sense of humour and he was more than a bit of a raconteur! It gives great comfort to know that the last time we met he said that he had had a great life and wouldn’t change a thing…RIP Vic

Nobody who knew this lovely man could not feel anything but sadness at his passing. In common with all our old friends and colleagues I will fondly remember our times (and beers) together. RIP Vic , be thinking about you and your family tomorrow as you make your final journey.

I have many happy memories of time spent in Vic’s company, from the early days when working with Hamilton Handbags at Exhibitions and at new collection time in Gt Portland St London. Then on through the years in the Leathergoods Industry. Inevitably, after a days work, a group of us would retire to the pub for well earned drinks followed by dinner. Much fun and laughter was had by all, with Vic always able to come up with some anecdote or story to keep us amused. One of life’s great characters, you will be much missed.

So sad to hear of Vic`s passing. The most decent and honest of men, it was a privilege to call him my friend. We enjoyed many lunches together during our semi retirements. Recounting stories from the past, many of which were probably told, not for the first time. Always with a smile on his face, I will indeed miss him. Rest in peace my friend.

When I first heard the news of Vic's death I thought at first it was another one of his jokes. I only spoke to him a few weeks ago and he was full of life and fun - as always.
I am truly shocked and saddened by his leaving us.He always lived his life in a positive and optimistic way and the last time we spoke he was full of plans to a) come to Devon and visit Fields and Annie's and have a few pints in the Swan and b) to organise a reunion of his long time friends in the bag trade.
Good bye VIC you are sorely missed.

Ray
