I will always cherish the memories we made from playing on your swing when we were little, disc cameras, Wham concert, sleep overs, holidays with you mum and dad in the lakes, the lakes that will always hold a special place in my heart we spent many a week there, your chosen meal where ever we ate was scampi and chips, long before you became a vegetarian.
Meeting Adam Ant, you were so star struck, couldn’t say a word, he was you absolute idol, your beloved mum shouting for him across the road, making sure you met him before we went to see him whilst performing in a play called Entertaining Mr Slone, your bedroom was covered with posters of him and I mean covered, every single cm.
The list of memories goes on, too many to list here and now, but fear not I hold every single one in my heart never to be forgotten I’m so sorry I can’t make the celebration of your life, please be assured you will be in my thoughts.
We lost touch in the later of our teens, it’s sad but true, a candle I light for you my friend, to say thank you for the memories we share, I’d wouldn’t change a thing.
When I look towards the sky at night, I know the brightest star is you Kirsty, looking down on me, my dear friend, I’ll never forget you.
Sleep soundly xxx
