Born at home in Hucknall, Colin started work at the age of 15 on the Roads.
His main passion in life was sport, predominantly football and was a season ticket holder for Nottingham Forest.

Colin, I cannot believe it’s five years since you left me. Not a day goes by without you in my thoughts. You know my life has moved on but I will never forget you. You come to me when I am sad. You stand beside me when I am scared. I feel comforted with the knowledge that you are with my dad and you are not alone.
